A side gig is an action you perform. Buying a business is a separate system; the business guide covers daily asset income.

Read rewards and time correctly

The tables use the official activity and equipment configuration, checked on 4 October 2026. Durations are configured game minutes, excluding travel, waiting and cooldowns. They are not measured real-world completion times.

For formulas, H = whole Hustle level, C = whole Coding, M = whole Music, K = whole Comedy, P = whole Photography and D = whole Dance. Rewards shown are configured amounts before payment rounding, tax and any listed activity cost. Skills can rise during an activity, so the level at settlement can differ from the level at the start.

Self actions and venue gigs

Help at the Buka reduces Hygiene and Fun; Carry Load reduces Energy and Hygiene while training Fitness. The larger flat reward is not the only comparison that matters if your Sim needs to be ready for a job shift.

Buy & Resell Goods has a random component and uses the full Hustle skill value, rather than only its whole level. The ₦800 stock cost is separate from the payout. Do not label the amount received as pure profit or expect the same return on every run.

Home gigs and the equipment they need

These are base equipment prices, not a fee charged every time the gig runs. Inspect your home first: a Nepo start can already include useful equipment. Owning a camera also does not remove the Photography 3 or power requirement for Edit & Sell Photos.

Compare money kept, not just the reward label

The official payment rules round ordinary gig rewards to the nearest ₦50 before eligible tax deductions.

For example, with Hustle still at level 2 at settlement, WhatsApp Hustle's configured reward is:

₦100 + ₦180 × 2 = ₦460 → ₦450 before tax after payment rounding.

At Dance 3, the configured Dance Battle reward is ₦1,650. Subtract the ₦500 entry fee to get ₦1,150 before tax and travel, assuming Dance remains at that whole level when paid. The entry fee is deducted separately; it is not already removed from the reward column.

For an equipment gig, also consider how many actions it would take to recover the purchase. A Grand Piano's large recital reward does not make a ₦12,000,000 purchase a sensible beginner income shortcut.

Start a gig and confirm the result

1. For a venue action, open Map, choose its venue and travel there. Check that the venue is open.
2. Open the venue's available activities and select the gig by its exact name. For a home gig, return home and select the required owned item, then its action. For WhatsApp Hustle, tap your own Sim and choose WhatsApp Hustle from the What should they do? action menu. The official action-menu code places it with your Sim’s self actions.
3. Read any skill, cash, power or cooldown message. Meet that condition before retrying.
4. Let the action complete. Check the named payment notice and Bank balance; a queued action is not a completed payment.

Useful venue windows from the official configuration are Amala Shitta 07:00–22:00, Balogun 07:00–19:00, CcHub 08:00–23:00, Freedom Park 09:00–22:00, Shrine 14:00–04:00, Elegushi 08:00–04:00 and Quilox 22:00–05:00. Overnight windows end the following morning. These are game venue hours, not real-world opening times.

Keep your job shifts and upcoming bills in view when fitting gigs around the day. The money guide helps decide when activity income leaves enough spare cash for an asset.
